How to Use this Blog

Hey Guys--

Welcome to the blog of fun!  First, we need to give a lot of credit to the Oberlin Praying Manti.  This workout routine is largely based off of their winter break routine and the text is semi-plagiarized... but we'll just call that "patch writing" (it is a real thing).  Oberlin is awesome, a team like us, and we love them dearly.

You should aim to be working out at least 5 days a week.  You can definitely work out 6 days a week as well, but make sure to give yourself at least one rest day. Below is a schedule that we recommend you try.  It tries to balance when you are working on things and giving your body enough time to rest.  When planning your workouts for a particular day, think about this 7 day cycle.

Day 1 - cardio, strength
Day 2- cardio, core, hand eye
Day 3- off day!
Day 4 - cardio, hand eye
Day 5 - off day!
Day 6 - strength, core
Day 7 - cardio, core, hand eye.

On this blog, the captains/your teammates will post about cool workouts they have tried to fulfill these requirements.  Everyone should feel free to contribute to this blog.  If you email us, we'll add you as a contributor (you have to have a blogger address), or you can just add your workout ideas as a comment.  This blog ONLY works if people contribute and read/apply the workouts on it.  It is an amazing tool for getting in shape, so make sure to take advantage of it!

Remember remember remember to please record your workouts on the Google Doc

Love,
Caps
